Consuela is a native of North Carolina. She graduated from the disciplinary honors college at the University of North Carolina Greensboro where she received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. She received her Juris Doctor from North Carolina Central University School of Law, where she graduated cum laude.
While in law school, Consuela received the civil procedure book award, was a recipient of the National Bar Association’s Women’s Division Scholarship, and served as a repeat volunteer for various pro bono projects. While working on those various projects, Consuela gained invaluable experience advocating for clients and ensuring that their rights and interests were protected. She also had a wide range of internship experience in complex business matters, residential real estate, and ethics and compliance law.
In her current position at Homesley & Wingo, Consuela primarily assists in real estate transactions, business law, and employment contracts/non-competes.
Outside of her legal work, Consuela enjoys spending time with her friends and family, planning her monthly book club discussion activities, and exploring new restaurants and activities within the Mooresville area.
